“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”

With over 40 years of passion as my guide, I've crafted a photography  career across some of the world's most vibrant metropolises—New York, Paris, Milan, London, and Los Angeles.

My portfolio began as simple portraits shot in Black and White, with the urgency of a young man living in hostels across Europe searching for something…

My work fortunately caught on with esteemed magazines like Harper's Bazaar, L'Officiel, GQ, and Cosmopolitan, and branched into campaigns for True Religion, Levi's, Redford, and Victoria's Secret.

Meeting Rosie De La Cruz, my “One True”, and us then welcoming our twins, Maxwell and Nicholas, into the clan, ushered in a return to my Northern Californian roots. Stepping back from the commercial lens, I embraced a deeper connection with family, humanity, and the natural splendor around us. Fatherhood became the ultimate union of life's threads.

Now, as I rekindle my lifelong quest through the lens—I find myself capturing connections and fleeting moments in familiar, ancestral landscapes. I find solace in childhood memories of California's coast, where mighty waves and the ever-changing shore offer endless inspiration. The ocean's transient power, a muse that requires patience and intuition, often finds me coaxing the elements into alignment. I wait, I watch, I dream, I hope, I shoot…and then I move down the waterline a bit and I start over. I am never bored.

In my images then, you can share a bit in this journey, and bear witness that it has indeed unveiled the simple alongside the magnificent—both, when under the right light, fuse into a single spectacle. It's about remaining steadfast, seeking with intent, and occasionally, witnessing the universe unveil itself, precisely as it's meant to.
